The Jeruzalem Ormož Wine Cellar was established in 1967 on the concept of their fellow countryman, professor Miran Veselič. This cellar has a cylinder shape and is embedded within the first terrace above the Drava river. The later can house 6.5 million litres of wine, and is organized in seven floors. There is 170 steps leading from the top of the cellar to the lowest, 5th floor, which is located 25 m below the ground. The later enables the wine to mature and to be stored underground at constant and optimal temperature as it has been for centuries. The pride of the cellar, the large oak barrels, are placed in the three bottom grounds.
